Spirit of lust is very common in this modern World

Spirit of lust is very active demon in this modern world. Spirit of lust operates in porn industry, nude programs, and many other things.
Many people invite spirit of lust in their life by falling for temptations. Temptations and spirit of lust are two different things. Jesus was tempted by Satan, but, he did not fall for the temptation. In this modern World, People can be tempted by nude images in the television programs, magazines, and the internet.

1 John 2:16

For all that [is] in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

People does not invite spirit of lust by being tempted, but, when the person clicks the image and watch the porn movie for example, then the spirit of lust comes inside the person. Pornography is proving to be the major reasons behind split of family in this modern age. Spirit of lust might be in your life, but, the good news is that you can be delivered through Jesus Christ. There are different other demons invited by the spirit of lust like the spirit of blasphemy, spirit of lies, and others which is the reason to root out the spirit of lust and other demons.

Process of rooting out the spirit of lust

There are many things to be discussed when it comes to the topic of deliverance, but, in this article, I will simply be talking about spirit of lust and rooting it out. Here is the process to root out the spirit of lust:

Make sure you are attacked by the spirit of lust

It is necessary to know whether you are tempted or attacked by the spirit of lust at first. You are tempted when you are encouraged to click on the nude images or watch the porn movie, but, when you actually watch the porn movie then you have spirit of lust inside you. It is necessary to root out spirit of lust because you are consistently thinking about porn movie when you are attacked by the spirit of lust. It’s an addiction. For an example, when the people crave for the smoke then the person has to smoke likewise when the spirit of lust is inside of the person, he/she must satisfy his lust.

Matthew 5:28

But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Resisting the spirit of lust

After you have realized the presence of the spirit of lust, ask for forgiveness

Jesus is the only one who can deliver you from the demons. God hates sins, but, he is also willing to accept you in his life as he doesn’t hate sinners. You need to ask God for forgiveness as you have sinned against the holy one. People often mistake God’s grace with the license to sin which is simply very wrong. Spirit of lust will not let you to focus on the will of God so it’s very important for you to get back in track with reconnecting with God.

1 Corinthians 6:18

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

Choose to hate the spirit of lust

Spirit of lust does not leaves you until and unless you hate and rebuke it. For an example, your bad friends will not leave your company until and unless you stop giving them love for their works. In order to keep spirit of lust out, you should rebuke it in the name of Jesus.

Galatians 5:16

 [This] I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Pray for deliverance, be patient, and close the door for unclean spirits

Galatians 5:1

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

After you have completed all the above process, you must pray the prayer of deliverance through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ has given us an authority over demons and Satan, and we must pray for the deliverance. You can do it together with other fellow believers as well. Patient is the key as James explains it in his books. After you have prayed the prayer, you must close the doors for the demons as it brings 7 more demons with him.

Matthew 12:43-45

 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth [it] empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last [state] of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

James 4:7

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

It’s the systematic way to root out the spirit of lust. It’s the basic knowledge about being delivered from the spirit of lust. You still need to know a lot about demons, how they operate, and how do they control the believers.
